Gilgit Baltistan Naran Tour
ITINERARY:
Day 01 Islamabad Chilas
We depart from Islamabad and arrive at Besham crossing the famous Towns of Abbottabad and Manshera. Later on followings the upstream Course of River Indus, we will make photo stops at Shatial rocks with ancient graffiti's on it. After a long day aboard, we arrive at Chilas and transfer to hotel for overnight.
Day 02 Chilas - Karimabad Hunza
Some interesting rock carvings can be seen on the rocks at Chilas, even from the window of your vehicle and next to Chilas is the Nanga Parbat viewpoint offering breathtaking views. The next stop will be at the unique point where three mountain ranges, Karakoram, Himalayas and Hindu Kush meets, near the confluence of Indus and Gilgit Rivers. We bye passes the Gilgit Town and continue our drive on KKH. En route, we cross several villages of Hunza & Nagar valleys and make a photo stop at Rakaposhi view point. Driving Past Nasir Abad arrive Karimabad ( Hunza ) transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight
Day 03 Karimabad - Sightseeing
Ultra, Hunza Dome, Bublimating, Spantik and Diran are famous peaks surrounds us at Karimabad, while Rakaposhi at 7788m dominates the whole panorama. At Karimabad, we visit Baltit Fort Museum and Altit Fort. Rest of the day is free for walking around villages and famous terraced fields of Hunza.
Day 04 Karimabad Gulmit
morning leave for Gulmit the winter resort of rulers of Hunza and especially famous for the winter migratory bird hunt. En route to Gulmit observe the famous BUBLI peak from Ganish and ancient Calyglyphics near Ganish village and then proceed to Gulmit. arrive Gulmit transfer to Hotel ,Lunch dinner and overnight at Hotel
Day 05 Gulmit Khunjarab Pass Day Excursion
Today we will make an excursion to the Sino-Pak border at Khunjerab, crossing the villages of Passu and Sost en route. Khunjerab is the highest point on KKH at 4734 meters and considered as the highest trade route in the world. In the evening we will drive back to Gulmit Dinner and overnight in Hotel
Day 06 Gulmit- Gilgit
We will drive back to Gilgit, where we enjoy a free time to explore bazaar and town. Gilgit River flowing through the town offers superb views and walk along its banks is rewarding. dinner and overnight in Hotel
Day 07 Gilgit - Skardu
after breakfast departure for Skardu, capital of Baltistan (height 2,438m) located in the backdrop of great peaks of the Karakoram mountain range. Baltistan is known as the "Little Tibet" and it is a cluster of mountain peaks and glaciers. Five valleys of Baltistan-Skardu, Shigar, Khaplu, Rondu and Kharmang are noted for their juicy peaches, apricots, apples and pears. Arrival and transfer to hotel. dinner and overnight
Day 08 Skardu Dau Free at Shangrila
Day 09 Skardu Excursion to Sadpara and Shigar Vally
Departure for Shigar Valley - gateway to the great mountain peaks of the Karakorams, i.e Gasherbrum Peak and K-2. Visit of 400 years old Wooden Mosque and Fort. Departure for Sad Para Lake from Shigar Valley. 0/Nat Skardu.
Day 10 Khaplu Vally
Departure for Khaplu Valley, the scenic valley of the Shyok River located 103 km from Skardu. Many famous mountains such as Masherbrum, Saltoro. Sia Kangri, K-6, K- 7 is located here. 0/N at Skardu.
Day 11 Excursion to Deosai Plans
Deosai means "Land of Giants". ... Deosai National Park is located above the tree line and at an average height of 13,500 feet above sea level, the Deosai Plains are among the highest plateaus in the world. The Deosai Plains cover an area of almost 3,000 square kilometers. For just over half the year - between November and May - Deosai is snow-bound. In the summer months when the snow clears up, Deosai is accessible from Skardu in the north and the Astore Valley in the west. Deosai is well known for its spring season when it is covered by a carpet of millions of flowers and a wide variety of butterflies. a day excursion and evening return to Skardu for dinner and Overnight.
Day 12 Free day at Skardu
full day free and rest for the next day lon journey
Day 13 Skardu- Chilas ( drive time 09 hrs)
After breakfast drive from Skardu to Chilas via Astak-nalah, Sasi and Jaglot, Short stop at Thalich for lunch, continue drive to Chilas, on arrival transfer to Hotel for Dinner and over night.
Day 14 Chilas- / Naran ( drive time 12 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Naran Via Babusar 4200 meter Pass arrive Naran transfer to Hotel for dinner and overnight
Day 15 Naran Islamabad
After early breakfast drive to Islamabad via Balakot, at we will stop for short lunch. after lunch continue drive to on Karakuram Highway via Manshera Abbottabad, evening arrive Islamabad
